For a few weeks it has been driving strange. It feels as if air is in the gastank because it does a sort of "hiccup" while driving. It frequently stalls as well. Yesterday I noticed a strong gas smell and looked in my rear view mirror to find a trail of gasoline on the road. I parked it and then a puddle of gasoline was beneath the right hand side of the back of the car, where its engine is. Can anyone tell me if they think this is a serious problem that will cost me a fortune? If so I am afraid I will have to junk the car, which I really do not want to do. If it will be less than $100.00 then I can manage that. Has this ever happened to anyone else out there in VWland? Michele@protozoa.com
