Dave, It is not a *bad* thing. In fact the plugs were desinged to be used in this manner. It is advise to keep them in place at all times. Of course they need to be removed when adjusting or inspecting brakes. Also keep the dust cap on the bleeder valve on the wheel/brake cylinder.
