Greetings all,
     I just bought the Oct. 98 VW Trends, and on page 44, there4 is an article
about converting a fuel injected Type 3 to dual weber ITCs. Photo #1 shows the
original D-Jetronic system. In the photo there appears to be 2 fuel pumps of
slightly different styles(far right and lower middle) each connected to square
fuel filters, 2 different pressure(or vacuum) transducers(to the right of the
computer box) and 2 fuel pressure regulators( one extreme lower left, the
other
at the upper left corner of the computer box). If all that stuff really was on
their Fastback, no wonder it didn't run right!
     I wonder if anybody at VW Trends would like to comment? I have noticed a
marked improvement in the mag lately, it's looking very professional, and is a
mag I now feel proud buying. However, if I'm correct about the photo, I don't
think it bodes well for them.
