[T3] New to the World of Type 3's

My wife and I recently purchased a 1966 squareback that is in exceptional
shape.  I would like any information
on different manuals people have found to be of value.  I have purchased
the Chilton manual and am not very pleased.  Also
information on the following:

Parts suppliers
How to obtain a birth certificate from VW.
Verification of the year: Chassis #366082211



We are planning on a complete frame up restoration.  When we purchased it
we were given a title for a 1969 VW but after reading
up on the type 3  I found out it is indeed a 1966.
