It is very hard to get to it. You must remove the generator, distributor, LH spark plug wires, LH gas lines, LH fuel injectors, LH air runners, then remove the upper cylinder cover plate (which probably means torching several rust frozen bolts loose. Only then can you remove the oil cooler and replace the seals. On a 69, if this is the original engine and cooler, you will need 2 of the older (usually black) thick flanged seals and the three spacer washers. These should fit snugly in the recesses in both the case and the cooler; if they do not, then you need a different seal. The question of what is the correct seal is a tough one, and one that comes up here often. Even the Bentley manual is less than completely accurate here. Write back if you have specific questions. I guess I should just write up a FAQ on this.
