Your guess is correct, but you should know that there are two 
different T's: one for the early small hole pump (-69) and another 
for the late large hole (70-) pump.  If your puller doesn't fit you 
may have the wrong one.

I had to fabricate a larger T for the early puller I bought years 
ago.
