Calif smog

Hey I decided to move to Seattle in the Spring! So of course I will take 
my Fastback on the road. 
As far as Becky was asking about smog, you have to be a resident of 
California. Although I currently live in Maryland, I am still a resident 
of california, drvers license, taxes, etc. I keep my Fastback registered 
in Calif because it has the original issue license plates and those are 
worth a lot to me for originality purposes.
I have property in Los Angeles so I rent it out and I pay taxes on it, 
and still have a small business that I pay taxes on. 
Maryland? I came out here for grad school and stayed a little longer that 
I wanted, i like it, but it's not my future home i feel. pretty though.
Becky - what are the laws in Wash state with old cars? I have a Triumph 
that I may bring out, it's a 65 Spitfire.
