No (external) filter? Dude, yer breaking my heart! You know, your engine
will last much, much longer and...well, you know the rest.
After the engine has been properly broken in make the switch to synthetic
and stay with it. It is superior to any conventional oil in every aspect.
The extra cost is worth the longevity of your engine. This with an
external oil filter and oil changes would be less often and your engine
would last even longer (okay, okay, I'll stop).
Don't use any oil additives, especially any that contain Teflon!!!!!!!!!!!!
Don't don't don't! See
'http://www.geocities.com/MotorCity/2195/engineoil_bible.html' for more
information.

4. Regular 30wt or synthetic oil for the new engine (no high capacity sump
or filter -- sorry Toby E.) ?
5. Any opinions on additives eg Dura Lube, Slick 50, Motor Up, etc...?
6. Any words of wisdom are appreciated :-)
Thanks Volks. Wish me luck as Dudley goes under the knife.
