There is a steel tube coming down from the breather box; this is part of the box, brazed on. There is a short stub of a steel tube that pokes up from the filler pipe. there is a medium length (~3") piece of fabric covered rubber hose that connects the two steel tubes. What did you break, or what other year do you have? > 2. Stupid Question(very stupid question): on the automatic > transmission, is the transmission fluid filler where the dipstick is? Yes, ATF goes down the ATF dipstick hole. Be SURE not to let any dirt in there. > My square has been loosing a lot of oil, and it got so bad I couldn't put > it off any longer. I'm sure they are still available. > Ben Lowry Jim --------------------------------------------------------------------- Melissa Kepner Jim Adney Laura Kepner-Adney jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, Wisconsin ---------------------------------------------------------------------
