The auxiliary air regulator is responsible for this. It usually
means that you have your idle set too high. The AAR pushes the idle
up when the engine is cold, but if the idle is already set too high,
then the engine will lope like this. The fact that it does this and
then quits when warm means that at least a number of your FI
components are doing their job. Idle should be ~800-900 rpm when
fully warmed up.
