Re: T3 "S" designation?

Well I just had to have a say in this question.....

The 1500 'S' Notchback and Variant are different to the 'N' models in
the following ways:
1.	Dual carburettor motor as standard
2.	Higher compression pistons in pre August 1964 cars and all
european models (8.5:1 as opposed to 7.8:1) (domed crown 83mm)
3.	Speedometer callibrated to 160km or 100mph
4.	Clock fitted as standard
5.	2 sunvisors
6.	Pop out windows.
7.	Side trim (aluminium with 45' chamfers on ends).
8.	Wrap around reflector housings and front indicators.
9.	Different distributor but I wont detail this here...
10.	Interior completely different including the dash board.
11.	Engine bay trun light.
12.	Pointed tail light lenses.
13.	Bonnet trim extending 75% of front.
14.	Wheel trims (try getting nice ones now!).
15.	Chrome screws securing the door light switches!
16.	Over riders on bumpers
17.	Chrome trim on exhaust like the T34 Ghia
18.	Adjustable wipers from memory (don't quote me on that!).

This is all off the top of my head so I have forgotten a lot of things
as normal. If you are comparing the 'S' to the pre August 1963 Notch etc
then that is a wholly different deal again. I must get my own web page
and detail all this sometime....

Any questions please direct them to me and the whole list for all to
gain from

Aaron.
