As far as I know the cars were assembled in Germany. The only other
place of production was in Australia, which were a little different in
some minor details.

Engine: Maybe they don`t hold any records about which engine the put
into which car. But if you give me your engine number I can tell you
when it was produced. I have a list here to check.
