Thanks if you got any. > Derrrick > ' 70 Squareback > ' 61 Ragtop Derrrrrrick, When that one side popped off you put yourself in a "situation". You'll never know how much you twisted the torsion bar. This might be of some help though: I remember reading in some back issue's (or was it my Haynes manual?) that for the rear torsion bars, there are splines on the inner end of the bar AND the outer end. But most importantly, there are a different number of teeth on the inner and outer. That means that by turning the inner "one notch" you would get a different ride hight than if you turned the outer end "one notch". The purpose of this is that with a combination of inner and outer adjustments, you can make much finer height adjustments. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
