I think the D-Jetronic Toyotas were a bit later. We had a VERY hot
1800 cc Toyota over in Japan for about 3 years. I think it was about
a 78. It was obviously a Bosch licensed deal; all the parts were made
by Nippon Denso except for the injectors themselves, which were
genuine German Bosch.
I didn't think Toyota actually exported any of their D-Jetronic cars
to the US. All the ones I have seen here were carbed, or later
versions of the Jetronic family. I could very well be wrong on this,
however.
