Last night I was driving my squareback the gen light came on and the engine died. It started and I drove around the corner and the engine died while in motion, no lights no nothing. A few minutes checking for fire fried wiring all was fine(intact). played with a fuse the car started. Drove right home. Got out my Muir book. Cleaned entire fuse panel and replaced all the fuses. Could it be the regulater? Anything else? Scared to drive now. Any suggestions? Ron... 1st vw 69 squareback
