For Project Ghia from last summer, the car had been sitting for a year and a half, you could see through the muffler, and the oil was a nice water-polluted grey. I changed the oil, adjusted the valves, slapped in some gas, and boom it ran! Now it only got up to 30mph and I'm sure some of the neighbors considered calling the police, but it gave me a good idea as to the minimum that needed to be done to this car to make it run good. At worst you could be damaging an engine that you assumed was bad anyway. IMHO Graham
