Re: type III heat


Just some words of caution here...  Don't put anything that'll direct the 
rear passenger heated air *down*!  Think about it -- if it'll melt tennies 
imagine what it could do to your carpeting.  An electric heater may work 
assuming the heating elements have a low current draw (yeah, right!) as 
well as the fan that's needed to circulate the heated air.  I really don't 
think the stock charging system could handle what would be needed unless 
the alternative heater was used only briefly.  A ceramic heating system may 
be a better idea (energy consumption-wise).

anyone know of any gas, or electric type of heaters, or other add-ons to keep
my t3 warmer (legal, or at least available in the US)?

P.S.
About the melted shoe thing... Ever heard of some kind of flap that you could
place over the rear outlets that could deflect the heat down, or in some other
direction other then against the back of my passenger's feet?...
