Guess I've been spoiled, I've bought 3 different brands of pads and they've always come with the springs. Sorry, didn't know it was a problem to get them elsewhere in the country. I usually get my stuff at a couple of Seattle stores that only sell foreign parts, so maybe that's it. Anyway, enough beating a dead horse. Happy 1997, Doug H. '71 Squareback
