Hi, A possible solution to the problem of matching the camshaft and the crank gears may be to use an old cam shaft gear; ie. remove the three rivets from an old cam shaft that matches the crank gear and bolt this to the new cam shaft. This is done with aftermarket performance cams. You can even make the timing adjustable by making "slots" in the cam gear. Regards Tim Hughes 2.0l '73 wagon
