I would say that you got a GREAT DEAL.  I paid $75 for a 69 square with
FI that had been sitting in a field for 14 years.  So, $100 for a
complete and working car is real good.  I found that as long as you talk
nice and give your new VW's a good home, that they will start to work
better.  It helps if there is another VW in the driveway for you to park
next to.

I'm sure that you will love your squareback.  In my area a squareback in
that condition would be worth $1000-1500, easily.
