I'm not well versed in the early years, but 68-70 uses 14" and the later
years (when the wiper pivots switched sides) use 15". Beck-Arnley sells
very nice FRP (fiber reinforced plastic) blades that duplicate the clean
shape of the metal originals, but they are black. This works VERY nicely on
72-3 where the originals were also black. For the earlier years I have just
learned to live with the black ones.
Beck Arnley numbers:
14" blades are 193-8114
15" blades are 193-8115
These blades are made by Tridon, but Tridon makes a number of different
styles and I have not been able to find the right ones elsewhere. I have
not needed to buy these for several years so things might have changed. B-A
also sells refills, but most any refill will fit the Tridon body.
Does anyone know if the OE SWF refills are still available anywhere? I have
a number of the bodies that I have saved.
