Has anyone done this?" I haven't seen a response to this question yet, so I'll bite... I have never heard of anyone ever trying this. I would guess that the two would be incompatible. The stock Distributor is a vital part of the FI with it's own special contacts. But I am not fully versed on the electronic ignition. The "pointless" ignition should work on FI's though, all you do is replace the stock points in the stock distributor with their module. That's about all I have info on.
