Valve lash should be set to .006 or .004/.006 as I mentioned in 
another post.  Adding the pertronics changes nothing regarding your 
spark timing settings, but the 009 instead of the OE distributor 
means that you cannot rely on the OE timing specs.  You will need to 
set your timing so it never gets more than 32 deg of advance at any 
RPM.  Obviously this requires some care and a timing light.
