Toby,

The guy I heard on the radio was talking about removing the lathe marks on
newly turned rotors to keep the new pads from squeeling by giving them a
smooth surface to contact instead of a surface with raised ridges. He said
the ridges caused the pads to "dance" on the surface and squeel.

The purpose of my most recent message was to inform the list that there is
now an alarming growing number of mechanics in the deep south that are of
the same opinion.

BTW, is there a time limit on threads now?
