This subject turns up occasionally, I think the '65 to '67 (possibly
earlier) had the smaller wraparound signals. VW changed back to round in
'68. I'll bet it was to meet side marker lamp standards. So the '69 Notch
that supposedly didn't have a fuel filler door, something's wrong there...
