Get a used one if you plan on buying an alternator.  I took pictures of 
mine on Sunday and once the film is developed I will write up the procedure 
and publish it on the web.

My genarator died yesterday, now I have a delema. Should I get a used one
for $30 or buy a rebilt one for $120. There is also the convertion to an
alternator. Help. :-(

I there a way of judging the condition of a genaraton with out actualy
having it in the car. Also is there some kind of a trick for removing or
instaling the belt.
