Type 3 badges: Looking for input from ya'll.

Volks,
Received my Type3 badges yesterday from Aaron and they look GREAT! They're
heavier than I expected, too. But now I'm in a bit of a dilemma. I
grabbed one and modeled it in various spots around my baby to see how it'd
look. When I got to the rear to see if it would look good in the back I
remembered that I had the original 'Volkswagen' script removed and the
holes welded up (I still have the script). I did this because I wanted the
body smooth and dechromed. Adding the new Type3 badges would suddenly
negate my initial goal! Ahhh, life, why do you torture me?!

So, what to do? Put them on because the US models didn't have 'em and it'd
make my baby West coast unique (Keith has the East coast)? Put them on in
the stock front fender location or same level but on the rear fenders,
maybe at the location where European side marker lights normally go (on
modern cars)? Put just one on the back, maybe with the original script
back on (doesn't have to be stock location)? Don't put them on and just
keep them, reveling in the fact that I have a somewhat rare item?

Damn it Keith, you just HAD to have them on your car and you just HAD to
have them show up in the pictures, didn't ya!?

P.S. I am keeping them so no offers to buy! Talk to Aaron B. about that.
