Toby was right. It is very easy to raise the car. Same as lowering the
car. You will probalbly need new shocks. There was a type 3 fastback
road rally car featured in VW Trends a while back. I thought it
actually looked good. If I found a rust bucket I was going to chop up
I might do it. Don't cut up an otherwise good T3 for that though. Just
my opinion. Don't bother with t-1 suspension. The only thing you might
want to use from a bus is the transaxle. These are good for offroading.
