The DRLA Dellortos (down draft) do not come in smaller than 36, if you need smaller then the webber DCNF can be used, but does not use the common manifold that DRLA and Weber's use. If have found 36 DRLA's work OK on a 1600 provided the venturis are kept small , no bigger than 28mm, I'm running 36 DRLA on an 1835 with 32mm venturis, this works well at high RPM, but 32mm venturis are too big on such small carbs for low down revs. On a general note, romour has it that carbs are starting to get harder to get new, as carbs are no longer used on new cars, they are only used for the aftermarket / performance, and this is now tending to FI. I think Weber will still make IDA's providing you want lots, and not just 2. Nic Webb 71 Fastback Team Roobarb & Custard
