Important T3 list info--please read.

Hi everyone,

	I've updated the T3 welcome message, as it seems that many folks
to not read it and/or throw it away.  (Note the numerous sub/unsub
requests posted to the whole group, sub/unsub requests being sent to Toby
or Al or Dan, etc.)  I'm attaching below a copy of the new & improved
welcome message; do please read it, and save a copy for future reference
if you've lost your original.

	Welcome!  You have just joined the VW Type III mailing list.  This
is a place for folks to share repair tips, part sources, stories, and
other information about VW Type III's of all sorts (Notch/Square/Fastback,
T34, SP-2, etc.).   Be prepared for as many as 30+ messages per day.

	To post a message to the group, send your message to
type-3@umich.edu.

	Please note that all administrative functions are handled by a
real person (me).  There are no automated subscription, search or digest
functions available.  The list is simply an email alias that bounces
messages to all of the subscribed members.  Also, please pay careful
attention to how your mailer handles the "reply" function:  the default
may initiate a response to the original sender only, the entire list, or
both.
