rusty wheels

hey all-
my stock 8-hole wheels are gettiong pretty rusty and i'm very soon going
to restore them in some manner.  I was thinking about sanding 'em down,
putting on some rust reformer, and then priming and painting them.  you
guys have any advice as to which products I should get (which rust
reformer especially!), which paint to get, and how I should go about doing
this?
