Re: Unidentifiable Switch in '65 Variant

Keith,

Thanks for the suggestion. Sorry, but no stalk switch. The 2nd owner also
bought many parts that he kept for the car in case they went bad. New head
light switch, wiper switch, relays, etc. Since the switch looks like OEM
and is placed where it seems to have served a purpose, I am still at a loss
as to what it might be. My original thought was that it was a hazard light
switch, but there aren't any wires connecting the switch to the blinker
relay. I'm simply stumped. Don't know why I am asking everyone else to
guess at this without being able to see it. I guess that I thought that
someone else may have one in their t3.

The only non-stock items on it are some French, chrome dual horns that are
mounted to the front bumper. They work through a relay under the dash. The
wiring looks professional. No date on them, but they look very old. It
would also jive with the info that I have that this car was originally used
in France from '65 - '67.

Thank you all for your comments and suggestions.

Take care,

John
