I am interested to know if anyone has any experience with adding a header exhaust to a Squareback. The OE exhaust on mine is shot; a replacement muffler (German) will cost me about $250.00 here in Finland, and aftermarket (Bugpack or something) is slightly less and in the end will work better with my planned purchase of 009 ignition and Weber 34ICT carbs. My concern is mainly with the rear valance. My Squareback's valance is perfectly straight and I would like to keep it that way. Do the aftermarket exhaust systems that run single or dual turbo mufflers hit the valance or require it to be bent or even removed (sounds dumb)? If so, is there an better choice? Thanks in advance.
