Seat belts, junkyard (if you want the > year-correct part) or J.C. Whitney has some good "It'll work" belts new. > West Coast Metric sells the body chrome as a set now for about $85, I think. You'll also need new clips for the upper and lower molding (you may be able to reuse the lower set, but the upper set pretty much self-destructs when you pop 'em out. I haven't seen their chrome set, so I can't endorse it. I didn't really like the upper clips that I bought from them, though (might want to try Bill and Steve's for that). I agree with Al that the junkyard is your best bet for an emblem and seat belts. However, after a lot of looking, I've never seen a set of molding at the yard that wasn't already badly dinged up. Might as well get some new if you want it to look really nice. If you want retractable belts, someone mentioned earlier that late-model Golf belts are compatible. (Haven't tried this myself) If you get old original belts at the yard, make sure they are still adjustable. Some of those old ones are really locked up solid! On that note, Someone mentioned that there are three-point mounting spots in the rear seat area of the Fastback. I have the same mounting points on the pillars between the rear windows of my Squareback, and I assumed that these spots were for the attachment of the hardware for optional popout windows. Is it safe to use these as attachment points for a three-point belt? Doug H. '71 Squareback
