Hello everyone- I've got a question about carbs for the t-3. My 72 Sqbk had injection, drove me barking mad, and I changed it to dual carbs NOS bought from some outfit in Texas. They are 32 PICT? solexes, with I believe 130 main jets. I also changed over to a 009. And I did all the obvious things like plug up the vac holes. The questions are: 1. Was that carb set up for a 1500 not a 1600? 2. If yes, is that the reason for the car running very lean, popping back through the carbs even when warm and barely getting to 55 - 60 mph on a straight? 3. If changing the main jets is the thing to do, what's the most sensible number? 140? 145? 150? 4. Could there be any other explanation to my power problems? (related to carbs/fuel/air) Thanks very much in advance. RBT ---------------------------------- Dr. R.
