I have a set of the "baja special" factory aluminuim rims that I've polished using a kit from Eastwood. It consists of the proper buffing wheels, three types of buffing compound, and a mandrel that you put in your drill. It's pretty easy to use, and the results are very nice. They also have a clear spray to put on things after polishing, but I think clear anodizing might be a longer-lasting approach. Their page is http://www.eastwoodco.com/index2.html To start with, I might try NAPA's Aluminuim brightener (nasty stuff though), rubber gloves and steel wool. Jake Kooser
