Thanks for the compliments. If the rust is really bad, I suppose you could 
graft in the lower portion back into it. Patching is another option if the holes 
aren't too big.

I've done it before, and will probably do it again. If your local shop does 
good quality work, then I'd have them do it, as it might be cheaper than 
shipping a door from across the US. :O 
Unfortunately the link didn't work. All I got was a black screen page that 
loaded up.
