I may have some parts here which could be used to replace your
missing pump parts. Is this just a spare pump or do you need it to
drive the car? I've worked out a way to replace that cap and a little
bit of rubber inside that breaks down in the piston, but I haven't
made any spares of the parts I need. If you're not in a hurry, you
could send it to me to be rebuilt. I'd have to provide the parts I
make as well as the replacement spring and piston. I would expect
this to cost over $70, however, so you might want to check out ebay
for a complete pump.
I've seen pumps on ebay go for $5 to $200, depending on the condition
and whether they had the word Porsche in the description. A pump I
rebuilt should be better than a new pump from Bosch, so it's still a
good deal at $70 or so, IF you really need it.
