Wouldn't you think that must be wrong? Unless I've got it all mixed up, the 3.67:1 diff will require more torque for the same number of wheel revolutions than 3.91:1, right?
But we have been finding on the manual trans ratios, that the books do not agree over the years. Like VW just started generalizing. Like theearly books show the T-3 with a 4.13 and the T-1 with a 4.37. But then acouple years later, the book will show them all having the same ratio.
That's pretty sad when you can't even trust the factory-supplied literature anymore :(
