I have some of the interchangeable service parts listed at http://www.hallvw.clara.net/partswap.htm . It's not an exhaustive list - just taken from a trade catalogue issued in the 80's when poeple used to supply parts for the Type 3 market. Lots of bits are common to Beetles and some to Buses, but virtually no significant body-related bits like carpets, panels etc, as they're clearly different shapes. Door handles, locks, certain electrical swtitches, and other items are similar for some Type 3 models. I don't think I'ver seen a comprehensive list anywhere, probably because a specialist in Type 3s often won't have Type 1, 2 or 4 models. Dave.
