Hey All, I just purchased a used T3 fuel pump. I attached 3 hoses to it, primed it, set the 3 hoses into kerosene and added 12V....bingo! It took about 3 seconds for the pump to flow out thru the center barb, but now it pumps kerosene correctly every start-up attempt. I own a pressure gauge that I used to check my fuel pressure on my T3. If I attach this gauge directly to the center barb on the used pump, is this a correct test to see if this pump builds correct pressure? What pressure readings should I be looking for hooked up directly like this? Also, what is the best way to store this used pump so that it stays "ready to go" if need be? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
