I'll look into this. I have been doing a lot of starting while getting
the car running. I have a whole extra steering column, so I'll see what
the switch in the spare reads like.

Seems like I should be considering putting a relay on the starter circuit.

This occurred to me after I mailed this out. I'll poke at it some more
just for due diligence.
