I have noticed a theme on this list and was wondering why it seems like
people have such a hard time finding parts for their type 3. Am I
fortunate to have 4 VW parts stores within a 20 mile radius from my
house that sell type 3 parts?

Anyway, I would like to recommend being very careful buying used parts.
I bought some front turn signal wrap around seals that were supposed to
be "in great shape" and when they showed up I almost took them straight
to the trash. They were almost as bad as the ones that I took off the
car. Oh well, next time, if there is a next time, I will make sure I ask
for pictures. Sorry if I offend anyone selling parts on this list but I
wanted to vent about this for awhile. I am sure I am not the only one
this has happened too or am I? }:-|
