Brake line on the front, split in the boot on the rear. I don't think it would make much difference on a T-3, except it gets the bolt out of the way of you arm if you are working on the starter or adjusting the clutch by facing it rearward. Even the earliest T-3's had the flex lines outboard. http://classicvw.org/gallery/main.php?g2_view=core.ShowItem&g2_itemId=4016 -- Russ Wolfe '71 FB AT '66 FB MT '64 T34 (not running) '65 T1 (not running) '05 KIA Sorento SUV russw@classicvw.org http://www.classicvw.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
