interresting...  I would have to guess that since T3s came into the US
in 66(?), that this cup may not have shown up in there until then.  68
was the first year for FI, so maybe after 68 the carbed models had the
cup also?  that return pipe looks like it's been brazed in (copper-ish
weld material around the pipe with the pain is removed) maybe all tanks
were made with the cup and some of the tanks for the FI return tube?

just a guess, but that sounds logical from a production standpoint. at
least on the early FI tanks.

I will keep your offer in mind.  I still have 1 or 2 tanks that I want
