I'm so glad you said that! Thanks for the advice :)
 
Now I just hope these things are available in town so I don't have to go on a treasure hunt. Looks like the same part was used in the Vanagons up to 1992 even, so it should be findable... I know a neighbour who parks his in the driveway ;)
