Took me a little longer than that because I decided to go so some local  
short track racing last night.

So, today I dove into Sophy's engine.  Popped off the 1/2 Head and  
found....

I even popped the valves out of the #1 head in case there was a start  
of a burned valve or seat.

I don't see anything out of the ordinary.  The valves and seats look  
OK.  A bit of oily carbon build up on the intake valve, but this did  
not seem unusual.  The cylinder wall looks and feels fine.  I am at a  
bit of a loss as to why that cylinder had such low compression.

I am going to pop the cylinder off the piston and take a look at the  
rings.  Don't know what else to do.....

hhhhmmmmmm......the plot thickens.
