I find that a given maker of these parts will use similar parts 
thruout its line, while it's often difficult/impossible to mix parts 
from different brands. If you can get a kit for any 19.05mm (3/4") by 
the same maker it's likely that it will contain the seal that you 
need.

I have no experience with the early simplex type 3 MCs, but my 
impression is that most of them were made by FAG. I may actually have 
a kit for that MC here, but without seeing your MC I really don't 
know if it's the right one for you.

I'm actually rather astonished to hear that someone is supplying a 
17.85mm (11/16") MC for Beetles, but you might have better luck 
buying an MC kit for an early Beetle, since that would HAVE to be 
3/4".
