I find that a given maker of these parts will use similar parts thruout its line, while it's often difficult/impossible to mix parts from different brands. If you can get a kit for any 19.05mm (3/4") by the same maker it's likely that it will contain the seal that you need. I have no experience with the early simplex type 3 MCs, but my impression is that most of them were made by FAG. I may actually have a kit for that MC here, but without seeing your MC I really don't know if it's the right one for you. I'm actually rather astonished to hear that someone is supplying a 17.85mm (11/16") MC for Beetles, but you might have better luck buying an MC kit for an early Beetle, since that would HAVE to be 3/4". -- ******************************* Jim Adney, jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, Wisconsin, USA ******************************* ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
