A serious oil leak has spring on the Notch, and since its dripping as high as the lower starter bolt (From the starter bellhousing seam) and and extends forward along the bottom of the tranny and back and everywhere under the engine Ive narrowed it down to coming from the bell housing. This is a Berg 1679 with a NEW Brazillian case and only has 6K miles on it. Oddly it doesn't seem to be into the Clutch yet. My biggest question is has anyone ever had any issues with the galley plugs on these cases? It could also be a front main seal but It's a good red one and I cant imagine it being bad so soon, I properly installed it by oiling it etc. How will I tell when the engine is out and everything is oily in there weather it's a galley plug or a front main seal? Or? Sigh! I really cant afford to dump time or money in the Notch with the other two so needy right now. Thanks.
