Re: [T3] steering rebuild


Do check the anti-roll bar (stabilizer).  That frequently wears it's location
dimple oval and slops about all over the place.  You will get a rock in and out
on the road wheel with the car on its wheels if that's the problem.

I've usually found the big nut is the one that needs the adjustment more than
the top one.

It's the same steering gear as Beetles (not Super-Beetles though) got, so you
will find another - even new one - easily.
